CNR 2014: Workshops: LEGO® Group (DNK): Marc-André Bazergui (CAN): USING MULTIPLE EV3

In this workshop you will discover how multiple EV3 "brick" can be used for creating complex robots. Learn tip and tricks, see live examples.

You will be introduced to Bluetooth communication between bricks and learn how to enable the new Daisy-Chain mode available on the EV3. The software used throughout the workshop is LEGO® MINDSTORMS® EV3 software (aka EV3-G).

Born in Montreal, summer of '67, Marc-André is an excellent facilitator of science and technologies. He is passionate for LEGO and MINDSTORMS robotic. Besides LEGO, his other hobbies includes graphic design and digital photography.

Since 2009 Marc-André has been part of the MINDSTORMS Community Partner (MCP) program and later joined the LEGO MINDSTORMS Expert Panel. Today he leads the group and assist LEGO in their interaction with the community.  He is the Admin of the EV3 MINDSTORMS Facebook group counting nearly 4000 members.

Marc-André has traveled the world participating at a variety of events aimed at inspiring kids with the wonders of MINDSTORMS, events like LEGOWORLD, World Robotics Olympiad (WRO), FIRST (FLL), the LEGO Festival in Greece and some activities with LEGO Foundation in places such as Abu Dhabi, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta.

He is known online as bazmarc or the guy who makes WALL-E replicas out of MINDSTORMS. No wonder when LEGO asked him to design one of the bonus robots for the EV3 set he came up with a WALL-E lookalike he named KRAZ-E.

Recently he designed another pop culture inspired robot he named R2-EV3 This is one of the many creations you will be able to see and interact with at this year's Cafe Neu Romance.
