CNR 2014: Movies: Red Echo Post (USA): Gumball Wars

Scott Thierauf is a Cincinnati-based writer/animation director with a long history in the commercial animation field. He has written, animated and directed a variety of projects from commercial animation/visual effects to short films and music videos. He is the creative director/animator at Red Echo Post in Cincinnati.

Red Echo Post is a sophisticated editorial, visual effects and sound design company. Located in downtown Cincinnati, Red Echo Post specializes in high-end editorial, cgi, animation, 2d motion graphics, color grading, and sound design.


Gumball Wars
A single, unprovoked act of gumball agression leads two vending machines into war. In a world where gumballs are bombs and toy darts are missiles, two machines find out just how far they'll go for the ultimate victory...and the glorious last laugh.
