Austrian Michael Brandl normally works with Windows User Management. He likes to build LEGO MINDSTORMS creations, reading a good book, going to the cinemas and watch movies, and to drive an old steam traction engine.

He has been playing with MINDSTORMS since it hits the shelves for around 15 years ago. He is the editor of http://lego.brandls.info - the largest German speaking MINDSTORMS related website, and host of the old MINDSTORMS forum, plus a member of various LEGO MINDSTORMS programs.

He was an organizer of a large amount of robotic challenges in Austria from 2000-2006, and he has been attending LEGO exhibitions and displaying MINDSTORMS robots since 2004 in various countries like Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Slovakia, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates and USA.

He is trying to build cool robots like:
- driving robots, autonomous or remote controlled
- swimming robots like autonomous boats or fully autonomous submarines
- flying robots like my LEGO driven blimp
- gambling machines like slotmachines, labyrinths or quiz robots
- spherical plotters like eggplotter, christmas ball plotter or my globe plotter
- mechanical devices like robotic arms
- robots for robotic challenges like line follower, robotic sumo or humanoid robots
- robots for use on the international space station ISS
- useful devices like battery capacity meter or RoButler

He thinks that you can build anything you want with LEGO Mindstorms, it is only your imagination which is your limit!
