What is Robotour? and what makes it different from other robot competitions in Czech Republic and Worldwide?
Robotour - robotika.cz outdoor delivery challenge, is originally Czech contest of autonomous robots navigating on paved park roads. The contest is annual on falls. The first year was in 2006 in Prague, park Stromovka. Next contest will be on 17th of September 2016 in Deggendorf/Germany. It supports development of autonomous cars in a way accessible even to students. There is no other similar competition in Europe.

If you should tell one story which is connected with Robotour, what story is that?
And why is it that you think this is an interesting one? There are many stories! Bender and Roboauto are examples of teams who are now involved in robotics business. Radioklub Písek is example of club which totally changed main focus from amateur radio to mobile robotics. Robotour was and still is a hatchery of many students solving hard real world problems who now work for companies like Google or Siemens.

How do you imagine the future of Robotour?
What kind of robots will be developed for the competition, and why will these types of robots be developed? There is increasing demand for autonomous transportation (both goods as well as people). And this problem is quite complex. Robotour is a way how to make this technology generally available.
