CNR 2013: Exhibition: Benjamin Cselley (AUT)
In Fall 2012 the college started with a 2 year postgraduate program and since fall 2013 it is hosting 25 freshmen, which is learning strategic design and innovation in a four year program.
Before Shanghai, Benjamin Cselley studied industrial design at the university of applied arts in Vienna, where he finishing his studies with the degree project "Hero robo bugs."
He is working for companies such as Volkswagen/ Wolfsburg (D), Storzdesign/ Zell am See (A) and Johannes Scherr Design (A). During his studies he had the chance to collect lot's of work experience.
Hero Robo Bugs
Following the motto "make videogames come alive" Benjamin Cselley, has made it his task to design nature-inspired robots equipped with the most advanced technology and artificial intelligence.
For your ultimate entertainment respons are: KOLO, SHO, AKU, NOMIA and Twin. Each of them are having their special ability.
What they have in common?
They are RoboBugs! And they MIGHT become HeroBugs but in order to archieve that status they need a trainer, YOU!, who prepares them for the 3 disciplines SUMO, PARKOUR and HARVEST!
These challenges demand absolute unity of trainer and bug, man an machine. Between victory and defest lies only the TEAM.

Benjamin Cselley is an Austrian Designer based in Shanghai, China, where he moved to in 2012 and setup Detao Studio Esslinger, a new design college for Strategic Design.
