CNR 2012: Participants: Xander Soldaat (NDL)

Xander Soldaat is an IT Infrastructure Architect at CGI's Infrastructure, Security and Architecture business unit. Xander has a long history of tinkering and hacking electronics and programming them. He has played with Technic LEGO since the age of 7. He started using the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® platform at beginning of 2008 and has not looked back. He's very proud to be part of the Mindstorms Community Partner (MCP) programme.


Being very involved in the online communities, Xander runs the Mindboards LEGO® MINDSTORMS® forums and moderates the ROBOTC forums. He works closely together with most of the 3rd party product companies, such as Robomater, HiTechnic, Dexter Industries, Mindsensors, Humarobotics and Rotacaster to develop and test new and innovative products to make MINDSTORMS® an even more powerful and fun platform to use.

Xander Soldaat has a background in computer science and electronics. He is 38 years old and currently lives in the Netherlands, married to his wife Tammy.

Cafe Neu Romance - Danish Embassy LOGO

The Danish Ambassador's Deputy Lars Kjellberg of The Danish Embassy in the Czech Republic will visit the exhibition and hold the opening speech before the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® ROBOTS DAY.

LEGO® MINDSTORMS® robots by Xander Soldaat
Xander Soldaat is a Dutch Master Builder of LEGO MINDSTORMS. His MINDSTORMS robots will be exhibited during the Cafe Neu Romance festival (27.-29. of November 2012) at the Galerie NTK and on the 29th of November he will hold a lecture on his MINDSTORMS creations.
