Cafe Neu Romance is the Worlds first Robot Performing Arts Festival

Cafe Neu Romance is the First Robot Performing Arts Festival in the World. The Sixth edition of it, is planned to take place in Prague 5-11 October 2017.

One important challenge the robot industry facing nowadays is not the technological challenge to develop advanced robots, but to gain understanding and awareness about robots for the general public.

The objective of the festival is to heighten the public's interest in robots and robotics, by inviting them to Cafe Neu Romance, and let them participate in different activities, like events, lectures, workshops and exhibition. We seeks to create a new educational approach to the intersection between robotics and performing arts, and to have a focus on the creation of cosy and sustainable robotics solutions, then the general public will also adapt these solutions in their homes in the future.

Cafe Neu Romance which will take place in Europe's robot culture city number one, Prague, is organized by Vive Les Robots!, a Danish "robot" marketing and event firm that seeks to promote robots from a culture-historical perspective, viewed from many "robot" positions in the community.

This is the reason why we wants to invite robotics companies, robotics organizations, robotics institutions, robotics artists, robot musicians "robot" film / animation / teater directors, "robot" designers and "robot" DIY-people to come to Prague in October, to create a new understanding for robots and robotics.
